Jean Bradford Obituary

In memory of the greatest mother ever, Jean Yvonne Bradford. Her journey is over on this earth, and she started her new life with Jesus in eternity on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Jean Yvonne Bradford, 69, Gadsden. Burial will follow at Forrest Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service directing.
Mrs. Bradford attended Cathedral of Praise Church and retired from Floyd and Floyd Law Firm after 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lee Bradford; son, Ricky Lee Bradford; parents, Bob and Grace Erwin; brothers, Butch, Bill, James, Robert, Goat and Albert Erwin; sister, Doris Erwin; chosen son, Billy Vaughn; and beloved dog, "Max."
She is survived by her son, Randy Bradford; grandchildren, Morgan Bradford and James Bennett Elrod; sisters, Pat Erwin Peters and Ruby Bradshaw; chosen sons, Paul Johnson, Jason Tidmore, Donnie Bethel and Adam Biddle; chosen daughters, Alicia Mimbs Taylor, Lisa Culberson, Tammy Johnson, Kathy Vaughn and Jamie Vaughn; chosen grandchildren, Jackson and Emaline Tidmore, Dakota, Savannah, Montana, Michael and Alaina Johnson; sister-in-law, Teen Erwin; special friends, Dot Johnson, Jack and Jane Floyd, Denise and John Floyd and Karen Talley; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Clayton, William Johnson, Larry Johnson, Paul Johnson, Gary Erwin and Tim Simmons.
Visitation will be held this evening from 5 until 7 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
