Joe Patterson Obituary
Mr. Patterson was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County a member of the Life Church in Rainbow City. Joe was a Marine serving in the Korean War and retired from Southern Natural Gas Company.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue Hamilton Patterson; sons, Michael Patterson (Patsy), Attalla, Rick Patterson (Dianne), Birmingham, Keith Patterson (fiancée, Lolita Romerro), Rainbow City, Mark Patterson (Joannie), Rainbow City; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Dr. W.M. Patterson, Birmingham, Gary Patterson, South Carolina, Oakley Patterson, Hokes Bluff; sisters, Arthell Scott, Gadsden, Martha Patterson, Boaz, Mable Walker (Earl), Oneonta; sisters-in-law, Linda Washburn (Albert), Gadsden, Frankie Griffith, Gadsden, Brenda Patterson, Rainbow City; brother-in-law, Benny Hamilton.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Padula, Dr. Keithan and Lisa, Stacy and Mitch and the entire hospice group from Lawleys Drug and Medical, also Terry at the Fisherman.
