Jon Honeycutt Obituary

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Jon Keith Honeycutt, 55, Rainbow City, who died Sunday, July 12, 2015. Rev. Bruce Word will officiate. On-site cremation will be provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
Jon was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and the Air National Guard. He attended Gadsden State Community College, worked at Goodyear and enjoyed working with his son detailing automobiles. He also had a passion for music and loved to listen to music and watch movies with his loving daughter. Jon was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all his family and friends. He had high hopes of volunteering at UAB to help other leukemia patients. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Honey-cutt; grandparents, Lonnie and Lydia Honeycutt, and grandmother, Mary Graham. Jon's ashes will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at Happy Hill Cemetery.
Survivors: parents, Carl and JoAnn Honeycutt, Rainbow City; son, Kristopher (Meghan Holiday) Honeycutt, Rainbow City; daughter, Maeghan Honeycutt, Glencoe; brother, Craig (Peggy) Honeycutt, Attalla; sister, Dana Honeycutt, Niceville, Fla.; granddaughter, Kaylin Honeycutt, Rainbow City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Honorary allbearers: Clint Ledbetter, Craig Honey-
cutt, Daniel Honeycutt, Donte McCoy, Joseph Williams and Brian Perkins.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
Casual attire requested.

I am so sad about Keith, but I am very glad we were all together in 2013 at my Daddy's memorial. The time we spent talking and catching up was very precious to me. My cousin Keith was a good person, and he will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.
