Mary Frances Higginbotham

Attalla - Mary Frances Higginbotham, 95, of Attalla, AL passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Christ Central Methodist Church with Rev. Billy York officiating. Entombment will follow at Forrest Cemetery Mausoleum.

Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Frances was a lifelong resident of Gadsden, AL and a graduate of Gadsden High School. She retired from Equifax of Gadsden after working there for over 40 years. Frances loved the violin and got great enjoyment from playing it. She also enjoyed painting.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Higginbotham; brothers, Walter Higginbotham and Robert Higginbotham and sisters, Bonnie Turner and Jimmie Farrington.

Survivors include her nephew, Robert Higginbotham; niece, Sandra Nichols; great niece, Meghan Turner; great nephews, Jimmy Turner and honorary granddaughters, Sophia and Makenzie.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ Central Methodist Church at 409 W. Grand Avenue, Rainbow City, AL 35906.

Visitation will precede the service Tuesday at the church from 1 pm to 2 pm.
