Michal Woodard Obituary
Mr. Woodard was an avid supporter of youth sporting activities in Glencoe. He coached for 27-plus years, leading hundreds of children through baseball and football. He was loved and well respected by the many young men he led through this time in their lives. He was a loyal member of the Elk's BPOE No. 1314. He was a 1969 graduate of Glencoe High School and worked many years at Goodyear.
Mr. Woodard is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Bentley; father, Stanley Woodard; and brother, Randall Woodard.
He is survived by his son, Seth (Cassie) Woodard; granddaughters, Madelyn Grace and Dallas Woodard; brother, Dale (Sherry) Woodard; sisters, Sharon Woodard and Terri Shadwrick; nephews, Jeremy Dodd, Jonathan Shadwrick, BJ Shadwrick, Dustin (Lacey) Rowell and Kevin McMahon; nieces, Angel Thomas, April Conley, Crystal (Josh) Graham, Carmen (Scott) Webb, Jamie (Tim) Bullington, Savannah Shadwrick, Kendra Woodard and Kelley Norris; as well as numerous great-nieces and –nephews, all of whom considered Mike their grandfather.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Rowell, Jonathan Shadwrick, BJ Shadwrick, Jeremy Dodd, Scott Webb and Tim Bullington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Glencoe Youth Football League and Cheer or Glencoe Dixie Youth Baseball.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
