Patrick Landreth Obituary

Patrick Landreth, 36, died in a one-vehicle wreck Saturday morning, Dec. 26, 2015.
There will be a memorial service for Patrick at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Etowah Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Whitt Hibbs officiates. Friends and family are invited to share a special memory.
Patrick is survived by mom and stepdad, Wanda and Jerry Mashburn; dad and stepmom, Frank and Eileen Landreth; stepsister and family, Kim, Eric, Erin and Josh Brannon.
Patrick started kindergarten at Whitesboro Elementary, then went to Sardis High School, where he was a drummer in the band, was on the baseball team and was an honor student. He was a member of Sardis High School's Class of 1998. He went on to march percussion with the Million Dollar Band at the University of Alabama. He enjoyed driving escort for oversized loads going all over Alabama and into surrounding states; working on computers, cell phones and car stereos; tinkering with anything mechanical; and woodworking projects.
Patrick loved beautiful sunsets, saying they were "his higher power showing off."
His kind heart, loving nature and willingness to help anyone in need will be missed.
Family requests no flowers. A memorial savings account is being set up at Liberty Bank for those wishing to donate. Proceeds will be donated in Patrick's name at a later date.
