Ruby Patterson Obituary
Ruby loved Jesus with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Drayton Patterson; parents, Edgar and Lydia Lipscomb; daughters, Faye Painter and Jackie Lackey.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Brenda) Patterson, Joan (Jerry) Horton and Don (Michelle) Patterson; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Our thoughts are with each of you. So many memories come to mind, when I think of Ruby. She was such an inspiration growing up on Alabama Street and in the West Gadsden area. We all were like one big happy family. Love you and may each of you cherish the great memories made with and by you MOM!!!

Jerry, Joan and Don, I'm so very sorry to learn about the passing of your dear mom. I remember all of the Patterson family and have such good memories while growing up. I am Barbara Taylor Sansom and lived across the street from you all when we were growing up on Bryan St. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I now live in Sumter, SC.
