Sammy Adams Obituary
Sammy was born April 17, 1950. in Fulton County, Ga. He was always there to help family and friends with anything they needed and could always make you laugh. He was a loving husband, dad and papaw. He was a member of Norcross Baptist Church. He was the former owner of Auto Collision Center, Lilburn, Ga., before his retirement.
Sammy was preceded in death by his father, James Marshall Adams; mother, Lottie Coble Adams; and brothers, William (Bud) Adams, Leonard Adams and J.C. Adams.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rhonda Roberson Adams; daughter, Amber Adams Brown, Lawrenceville, Ga.; son, Chad Dean Adams, Lawrenceville, Ga.; grandson, Cody Brown; granddaughter, Savana Bryant, Lawrenceville, Ga.; sisters, Jenny Shellnutt, Ohatchee, and Betty Ann Henderson, Lawrenceville, Ga.; brother, Billy (Glenda) Adams, Doraville, Ga.; and sister-in-law, Susan (Eddie) Silvey, Rainbow City. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Burial will be at Gwinnett Memorial Park immediately following the service. Pallbearers will be nephews and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrence-ville, Ga. (770-277-455).
