Timothy Osborn Obituary
Craig was a member of First Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff. He was a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School class of 1983 and played on the Eagles' varsity football team. He was employed with the Gadsden City Board of Education and was active with the Gadsden Chamber of Commerce and Hokes Bluff youth sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Jean Osborn.
He is survived by the love of his life and soul mate, his wife, Melodie Osborn; children, Baylor, Brandon and Blake; brothers, Gary and Joe (Vicky) Osborn; sister, Rhonda Campbell; mother and father-in-law, Price and Ann Harris; nieces, Dena (Jason) Allen and Camille Campbell; brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Amy Harris; nephews, Derek (Lynn) Osborn, Matt (Kerrie) Osborn and Duke Osborn; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Big Oak Ranch or Westbrook Christian High School's baseball program.
Pallbearers will be Rod Morris, Jarrett Pearson, Jim Wood, Jared Atwell, John Lee, Derek Osborn, Matt Osborn, Duke Osborn and Chris Sanford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Baylor Osborn, Brandon Byars, Blake Byars, the class of 1983 of Hokes Bluff High School and the fourth- grade class of Hokes Bluff Elementary School.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the following: University Oncology Department; Dr. John McCravey and his staff; Gadsden Regional Medical Center seventh-floor nurses, staff and physicians; special caregivers, Jay Beggs, Kim and Teresa with Amedysis Hospice; his sister, Rhonda Campbell; employees and co-workers at Gadsden City Board of Education; physicians and staff of Women's Health Partners/GRMC; the baseball team and coaches at Westbrook Christian School, Hokes Bluff School, First Baptist of Hokes Bluff Church family, the employees and staff at Absolute Fitness and all friends and family.
The family is also very thankful to Dawn and David Gregerson and all the supporters of the Bands Battling Cancer for Craig benefit that was held at Center Stage.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Hokes Bluff from 6:30 to 8:30 this evening.

I was saddened and my heart broke for you and your children when I was told about Craig. We are praying for you and your family during this difficult time. You are resilient girl and God and friends will be there for you. I am so sorry for your loss. Craig was a good man. We were friends during the high school days. Always making others laugh.
I know that there are no words that are going to make things better or easier. I just lost my husband 10 weeks ago. I have three two year olds to raise. God will give you the strength to make it through each day..or each hour. I know at times it just hurts to breathe..If you everneed to talk email me or I am on facebook. Know that you are in my prayers. God bless you and your kids. Craig is in the presence of God with no more pain. I can only imagine!

Craig Osborn was a friend to me when I lived in Gadsden. He was fun loving, happy and he will always be a part of my life. He and I had a short (on my part very short) go cart racing stent together. Craig helped me get to know my new hobby and one time we went to a very muddy Winterboro, Alabama go cart race. Craig was my crew chief and it was so muddy that I went around the track two or three times and the cart got so caked with mud and weighted down that it almost stopped. We laughed so hard when the race was over. Craig was a positive person, he was a good salesman and always, always friendly to me. The world lost a good person. I will always remember Craig Osborn. I'll always remember Craig as, "one of the good guy's." He was the guy in School that was always nice to everyone. He had a smile that would light up a room. He will be missed in this walk of life but Thank God he is now cured and has his new body free of pain. I'm sure in my heart that he is rejoicing in God's presence. My prayers are with his family and freinds that will miss him greatly.

Melodie sorry we can not be with you tonight or in the morning. It is so awesome God gave you a wonderful man for a short while. I am praying for you daily to be uplifted in the mercy and grace of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Craig has touched a lot of lives from the articles your Dad has sent me by email. I did appreciate getting to know You and Craig a little better, in a different kind of way.

It has been many years since I have been in Hokes Bluff... Craig and I went to school together and he has always been a great friend. He and Gary came up to Indy and spent the weekend with my family to attend the Indy 500 many years ago. My hearts goes out to all of you ... Craig was a wonderful person looking back I have never seen him sad or mad, he has always had a smile on his face. We are all forever changed just by being fortunate to have Craig in our lives. I first met Craig when he was my substitute teacher at Gaston. This past year we laughed aobut that when I worked with him at Walnut Park. He was a wonderful guy and fun to be around! My thoughts and prayers are with his family!!
