Carl Robbs Obituary
Gaffney, SC -- Carl Raymond "Brother" Robbs, 69, of 1205 Wilkinsville Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Herbert Wilks Robbs and Carolyn Whitesell Robbs. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from Nestle after over 30 years of service and of the Baptist faith. He loved his family, rocketeering, kayaking, karate, building things and puzzles.
Surviving are his triplets, Jamie Robbs of Gaffney, Clay Robbs (fiancé Julie) of Cowpens and Rebecca Robbs Painter (Jim) of Gaffney; two brothers, Don Robbs (Kayla) and Tommy Robbs (Jovie), both of Gaffney; a sister, Marsha Robbs Daniels (Jack) of Gaffney; a brotherin law, Clint Shenk of Greenville; two grandchildren, Landon Robbs and Josie Painter; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Robbs Shenk.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Oakland Cemetery with Dr. Keith Harrill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Social distancing and masks are requested.
