Gaffney, SC - Charles Edward "Ben" Maynor, 85, formerly of Beltline Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Peachtree Centre.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Mary Jo Jenkins Maynor and son of the late Henry Arthur Maynor and Ruby Spencer Maynor. He retired from Bonitz Construction after 37 years of service and was a member of Gaffney Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Tammy Marie Dill (Tracy) of Gaffney; two brothers, Larry Maynor (Betty) and Ricky Maynor, both of Gaffney; a sister, Jean Lovingood of Gaffney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Maynor and two sisters, Carol Maynor and Shirley Ellis.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Agape Care Hospice, 706 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
The family will be at their respective homes.
