Cowpens, SC - Glenn Andrew Kimbrell, 70, of 462 Dewberry Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Born in Cowpens, he was the husband of Virginia Kay Harris Kimbrell and son of the late Toy Kimbrell and Mollie Spencer Kimbrell. He was a graduate of Cowpens High School and Spartanburg Technical College, formerly worked at Cherokee Finishing and retired from Kohler.
Glenn loved his family and was a Baptist Church. He was a classic car enthusiast and loved restoring them, loved music, and was a former band member.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Matthew N. Kimbrell (Kathryn) and Andrew D. Kimbrell (girlfriend, Amber Forrester), both of Cowpens; three grandchildren, Tyler Kimbrell, Ashley Kimbrell and Xander Kimbrell; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Kimbrell and four sisters, Oveter Westbrooks, Onell Kimbrell, Frances Mathis and Levenia Buff.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM at the Church with Reverend Jonathan Childers and Reverend Dennis Spencer officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 250 Mount Olive Road, Cowpens, SC 29330.
The family will be at their respective homes.
