Greg Bradley Obituary

Pacolet, SC - Stephen "Greg" Bradley, 64, of 160 Carroll Circle, went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 6, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Greg was lovingly known as Brother Greg, "Brother-in-law", and Uncle Greg.

Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of the late Patrick Bradley and Betty Durham Bradley Wall. He is survived by his sister, Wanda Wall (Steve) of Pacolet, SC; nephews, John Bradley Wall, (Sara) of Forest Hills NY, Steven Todd Wall (Lori) of Mountain Rest, SC and James Matthew Wall (Sarah) of Pacolet, SC; great-nephews and nieces, Elijah Wall, Anna Wall, Jacob Wall, all of Forest Hills, NY, William "Brody" Wall of Mountain Rest, SC, and Julia Wall of Pacolet, SC; and a wide community of friends in Pacolet who will miss him and his kind hearted and generous nature.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Kay Bradley of Spartanburg, SC.

Known for his gentle presence, witty one-liners, and heart of service to his community. Greg was a beloved brother, uncle and friend to many.

He was raised in Pacolet, SC, Greg was a proud alumnus of Broome High School, class of '79 and Spartanburg Technical College, where he received an associate degree in Tool and Dye Making. Greg retired after 27 years of service as a Mold Maker 5 from Sonoco Plastics, Union, SC.

He spent much of his professional life in service. Greg was a volunteer with the Pacolet Fire Department since the early 1990's, most recently serving as the bookkeeper for the Department, and a member of the Pacolet Fire Department Board of Commissioners. He received the Firefighter of the year award in both 1990 and 1991 from the Pacolet Mills Fire Department.

Beyond his professional achievements, Greg's true passion was his family. He was a devoted son who cherished the legacy of his Mother and Father. He took great pride in being an "Uncle" to both his family and others. He was a man of faith being a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church and faithfully attending Bethesda Baptist Church. Greg had a zest for the simple pleasures in life. He was a talented cook and loved nothing more than a good meal shared with his family and friends. Greg was an avid fan of Broome High School football, Clemson Tigers, and professional wrestling.

The most beautiful chapter has just begun…his eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Brown's Chapel in Pacolet. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 11:00AM at the church with Reverend Larry Holland and Reverend Tommy Sparks officiating. Interment will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Bethesda Baptist Church, 799 Bethesda Road, Spartanburg, SC, 29302.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Wanda and Steve Wall, 188 Chapman Road, Pacolet. Blakely Funeral Home & Crematory, Gaffney, SC
