Gary Leon Bradley, 68, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

He was born on August 24, 1957, in Rockbridge County to the late Roy Franklin and Greta Beard Schickel Bradley.

Gary was a retired Deputy with the Augusta County Sheriff's Office, where he dedicated twenty-three years serving the citizens of Augusta County.

He was a member of Old Providence Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Steeles Tavern.

Outside of his work, Gary had a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and spending time farming, working the land, and caring for animals. Horseback riding and agriculture were lifelong passions of his.

Above all, he treasured his family. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Gregory Bradley; his daughters, Harley Bradley Glass and her husband, Bryan and Jesse Bradley-Weeks and her husband, Ethan; his sister, Betty Bradley Lotts; his brothers-in-law, Darrell Gregory and his wife, Monica and Dale Gregory and his wife, Michelle; his sisters-in-law, Connie Bradley, Debbie Koogler and her husband, James, and Darby Deming and her husband, Ryan; his grandchildren, Holden and Hadley Glass, and Sutton Weeks; his lifelong friend, Doug Fravel; and numerous other family members.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Franklin Bradley; his in-laws, Roy and Rebecca Gregory, and his brother-in-law, Stuart Lotts.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Old Providence Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Steeles Tavern with Reverend Patrick Malphrus officiating.

Immediately following the service, a visitation with a reception will be held in Providence Hall.
