Harrelson Funeral and Cremation ServicesCathy Bradley, age 78, of Forest City, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Cathy was born Tuesday, September 9, 1947 in Cleveland County to the late Morgan Leroy White and Addie Bell Smith White. She worked for Cone Mills-Avondale Plant for over forty years. Cathy was a longtime and faithful member of Grace Chapel (formerly Forest City Foursquare). One of her greatest joy’s was spending time with her best friend, Brenda Goode. Her servant’s heart was displayed in her being a part of the benevolent ministry, children’s ministry and doing whatever needed to be done at the church. She loved reading her Bible, caring for children and cooking for her family. She lived a life of dedication to her Lord, her family and her church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Dewey Bradley; son, Ray Bradley; daughter, Lynn Bradley McClain; siblings, Ileen Tessnear, Chuck White and Joyce Baker.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Rhonda Goode (Jack) of Forest City; brother, T.C. White (Paulette) of Forest City; granddaughters, Lyndsie Simmons (Jay TenBroeck), Alaina Goode, Addie Goode (Zach Lane); great granddaughter, Lynnlie TenBroeck; sisters-in-law, Renee Smart (Jimmy) of Mooresboro, Paulette Saunders of Spartanburg and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Grace Chapel with Reverend Paul McGinnis and Reverend Ricky Poteat officiating. Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
