Sue "Woolwine" Crotts

Sue Woolwine Crotts entered the gates of Heaven and stepped into the arms of her Savior on March 15, 2026.

Sue lived a life defined by her unwavering faith and her deep, abiding love for her family. A woman of simple but profound passions, she was rarely seen without a cup of coffee in her hand and a dog by her side. Her home was a place of warmth, punctuated by the excitement of Dallas Cowboys games and the joyful chaos of her loving family. Her kindness and spirit were a testament to her walk with Christ, and her life was enriched by the laughter and loyalty of her close friends, who remained a constant source of joy and support.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Crotts; her children, Adam Crotts and his wife April, Katie Calhoun and her husband Derek, and Alley Crotts; and her beloved grandchildren, Levi Manning, Addison Friddle and her husband Lucas, and Micah Crotts. She also leaves behind her sister, Carolyn Davenport, and her father, Lewis Woolwine along with many nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Woolwine.

Her legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to be cherished by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held 3 PM, Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Carolina Event and Conference Center, 376 Hudlow Road, Forest City NC 28043.
