GAFFNEY - Lizzie Beaver Poole, 86, formerly of 430 High Point Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Magnolia Manor of Inman.
Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Anna Beaver. Ms. Poole was retired from textiles, loved her family, was an avid shopper, enjoyed cooking and was famous for her banana pudding. She was a member of High Point Baptist Church and had a great love for her church.
Surviving are three sons, Rick Poole and wife, Nita of Gaffney, Harold Poole and wife, Patti of Cowpens and Randy Poole and wife, Frances of Cowpens; a daughter, Wanda Revan and husband, Jimmy of Inman; eight grandchildren, Crystal Mullinax and husband, Reverend Ray, Laura Bates, Paige Carr and husband, Jay, Bridget Harris and husband, Marc, Hunter Poole and wife, Cacie, Nicholas Poole, Angie Bray and husband, Richard, Chad Arledge and wife, Heather, Matthew Revan and wife, Brittany and Portia Lawter and husband, Shaun; and twenty-six greatgrandchildren. Ms. Poole was preceded in death by two half sisters, Mary Sue and Dolly Mae.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018, at High Point Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at High Point Baptist Church with Reverend Clifford Phillips and Reverend Ray Mullinax officiating. Interment will be in High Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Her favorite color was red and if possible, the family would like for her friends and family to wear red at her service.
