Marshall Cooper Obituary

Marshall Dean Cooper, 79 of 182 Cooper Trail, Blacksburg SC, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday Feb.4, 2025. He was the son of the late James Lyles Cooper and Myrtle Henson Cooper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Bobby Cooper, Jackie Cooper, sister Betty Bailey, and grandsons Marshall Cooper, Jeffrey Daves, and Nate Cooper.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Marshall Cooper (Danielle), granddaughter Shawna Cooper, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Marshall was a graduate of Gaffney High School and retired from Duke Power/ McGuire Nuclear Station. He was a Mason, Shriner, and a member of Camp Moses Wood SCV. a motorcycle enthusiast, who enjoyed tinkering around in his garage, and spending time with his son at the barn. Pop or PawPaw as he was affectionately called, will be greatly missed!

A private burial will be held Thursday Feb.6, 2025 at the Cooper Family Cemetery.
