Gaffney, SC - Matthew "Matt" Lee Marfia, 53, of 207 E. 3rd Street, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at his residence.
Born in Santa Clara, CA, he was the son of Robert Lee Marfia of Oregon and Michele Cox Villagomez of California. He was formerly employed as an electrician and a U. S. Marine veteran. He loved his family, his friends, traveling, and was a very adventurous person.
Surviving is a son, Robert Marfia of Grass Valley, CA; two brothers, Paul Marfia of Arizona and Robert Lee Marfia of New Mexico; a sister, Misty Sousa of Oregon; a granddaughter, Maisie Isabella Marfia; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie Ann Marfia.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
