Gaffney, SC - Nancy Ann McAbee, 73, of 406 Carson Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Cherokee Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Lee McAbee and Mary Mabry McAbee, and was formerly married to Billy Mace of Gaffney. She retired from textiles, a former member of El Bethel Baptist Church and Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, and attended North Point Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, animals, gardening, traveling and the outdoors.
Surviving is a son, Dickie Mace (Dawn) of Inman; two daughters, Crystal Owens (Ernie) and Joyce Moore (Josh), both of Gaffney; two brothers, Bobby McAbee (Sue) of Gaffney and Frank McAbee (Mary Kay) of Spartanburg; ten grandchildren, Michael Mace (Andi), Katlyn Blackwell (Joshua), Brandon Mace (Courtney), Mackenzie Owens (Noah Martin), Cassidy McSwain, Madison Moore, Landon Moore, Brett Moore, Daniel Moore and Tanner Moore; ten great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jayden, Eli, Hannah, Elena, Clayton, Hudson, Addy, Annslee and Lucas; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy McAbee.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, November 17, 2024 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tommy Wright officiating. Interment will be in the El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
