I met Nanda many years ago. We were both contestants in the Miss Spartanburg Padgent, and that's how we met. I will never forget when she came on stage and started singing. I was AMAZED that such a big voice came out of that little body. She truly was SO talented! Later, my husband and I got married at Mayo Baptist Church, which was next door to her parents' home. Nanda gave us a reception at her home. We have been married for 43 years now. Nanda was so sweet and funny. May the Lord comfort her family and all her friends. She was a great lady

Words cannot express how much I will miss Nanda. I worked with her at Kindred for the past 12 years. She always had a smile for us and made us laugh with her quick wit. I watched her perform in several plays and her voice was amazing! She was so talented; a celebrity amongst her Kindred family. Nanda was one of a kind and we loved her. I’m so sorry she’s gone.

I’m so sorry about Nanda. I didn’t know she was sick. I went 1st-12th grades with her. I thought a lot of her. We were all like one big family because there was only 1 grade for each grade level so we were always together. I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
