Robert Osment Obituary

Gaffney, SC - Robert Andrew Osment, 71, of 1236 Burnt Gin Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 9, 2024.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late John Robert Osment and Kathleen Fowler Osment, and was formerly married to Nancy Jo Westbrooks. He retired from Timken after 37 years of service, was the owner of R & O Landscaping, and was of the Baptist faith. Robert loved his family, especially his grandchildren, was a very hard worker and loved working on his farm.

Surviving is a daughter, Shana Osment Harvey (Justin) of Gaffney; three brothers, David Osment (Dottie), Hubert Osment, both of Gaffney, and Gary Osment of Woodruff; two grandchildren, Landi Thompson (Brandon) of Conway and Lyndzi Harvey, of Gaffney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Osment Burkholder.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mickey Mullinax and Reverend Tim Osment officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.
