Roy Evans Obituary
Gaffney –Ret. Major Roy A. Evans age 64, of Gaffney, entered his final resting place on December 25, 2025. He is survived by his wife Cindy Evans, a son Alex Evans; two sisters Hattie E Boyce, Spartanburg; Paula Y. Burks (Fredrick) Douglasville GA; and two sister-inlaws Tracey Shippy (Craig Littlejohn) and Nicole Petty (Donald). Roy was preceded in death by his son Roy Anthony Evans.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church on January 10, 2026 at 12 noon.
His committal will be held at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson, South Carolina on January 13, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
