Gaffney, SC - Tony Medrano, 18, of 152 Mill Stone Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
Born in Gaffney, he was the son of Elmer Medrano of Greenwood and Lupita Martinez of Gaffney. He was employed in the roofing business, loved spending time with his family, loved football, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are three brothers, Robert Medrano of Gaffney, Matthew Medrano and Elmer Medrano, Jr., both of Greenwood; a sister, Jocelyn Medrano of Greenwood; maternal grandmother, Consuelo Martinez of Gaffney; maternal grandfather, Dario Chavez of Gaffney; uncles and aunts, Raul & Caro Martinez and family, Ricky & Tacara Martinez and family, Rey & Amanda Martinez and family, Ruben & Amanda Martinez and family, Alvaro Martinez, and Arturo & Erica Martinez; also numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends commencing at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2022 in the Gaffney Free Will Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Funeral Mass services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Bruce Barnett officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at their respective homes.
