Wayne Rathbone Obituary
Gaffney - Wayne Earl "Ratbone" Rathbone, 65, of 137 15th Street, passed away Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, at his home.
He was the son of the late Ted Douglas Rathbone and Nola Whelchel Mathis and was a veteran of the United States Army. Surviving Mr. Rathbone is a nephew, Larry Porter (Wendy).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Whelchel and Phillip Rathbone, and a sister, Nettie Porter.
A public viewing will be held on Monday, December 30th, 2024, from 9:00am - 4:30pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. Burial will be private.
The family will be at their respective homes.
The Gaffney location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Rathbone family.
