We called him “Drew”, we played neighborhood sports (football, basketball, softball and baseball) at A. Quinn and formed a Competitive softball team affectionately know as the “Humdinger All Stars” ( kids from the neighborhood, we became family) we traveled the area as (12-16yr. olds) playing softball against older players for fun. “Drew”, we miss you, a true athlete and a good man gone home. To Brenda and the family, know that we are praying for you. LOVE, Robert and Ezzard Bryant.

Deepest condolences to the Family. Andrew will truly be missed. He was a special person. I have known Andrew for over 50 years. In the many years that I have known Andrew, I have never seen him raise his voice. He was always very kind, and he cared about all his classmates. In 1964, three Elementary Schools 6th graders explored as 7th graders at Lincoln High School. We came from Williams Elementary, AQ Jones Elementary, and Duval Elementary. At that time. We became family. Not blood related but students that cared for each other.
I was not surprised when Chubby, as we called him, became A Man of God. He had all qualities of being a True Man of God. Brendel and Family, I am praying for you all during the loss of Chubby. I am here for all of you. Now, he is resting, awaiting for That Day, When Jesus Returns. He is now at peace. No longer in pain, no worries, no more medical problems.
