BARBARA ANN, 56
Gainesville - Barbara Ann Appling, Age 56, Daughter of the late Eugene & Tempie Anderson-Appling, Native of Palatka, Florida who lived in Gainesville, Florida, an Army Retiree (serving with the US Army from Dec 15, 1981 until July 31, 2001) & VA Medical Center Employee, died January 22, 2014, at Shands Hospital (Gainesville, FL) following a brief illness.
There will "only" be A Public Visitation at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM. Ms. Appling will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery (for Veterans) of Bushnell, FL on Monday, February 3, 2014.
Those left to cherish her memory are: dear friends - Mary McCloud of Gainesville, FL, Geraldine Rochester of Randallstown, MD and Ollie J. McCloud of Gainesville, FL.
Arrangements By: DUNCAN BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME, 428 NW 8th St., Gainesville, FL.

Barbara you will be truly missed. I will never forget the morning I game to pick you up for work and Winston decided he wanted to run across the street and up and down the streets .we had a time that morning trying to catch him.
