'BOBBI' ANN, 81
Cross City - Barbara 'Bobbi' Ann Naylor, 81, long-time resident of Cross City in Dixie County, Florida, passed away August 20, 2014 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Lucy Naylor; two brothers, Ivey Naylor and John E. Naylor. She is survived a brother, William 'Billy' Naylor (Linda) of Monticello, Florida. Nieces and Nephews, Toni Shumaker, Tracy Hobbs, Terri Longshore, Regina Naylor, Craig Naylor. Great Nieces, Lucy and Kati.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Cross City with the Rev. Mike Brown, officiating. The family will receive friends and family for an hour of visitation from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow at Cross City Cemetery, Cross City, Florida.

I had the privilege of caring for Ms. Bobbi a little over 4 years. She was a gift from God. I will miss her, but also know that she is an angel watching over all of us and saying "we're going to make it". Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Barbara's homegoing, but I know there must be joy in heaven! She was such a kind and gentle person, and I enjoyed my time with her on the Meridian Board.

I was hired by Ms Naylor at the Dixie Co. School Board in 1978, she was my boss, my friend and a great inspiration to me. She was never angry, always helpful, saying, What can I help you with, Bud, or Buddy, ain't it a good day. A great servant of Jesus Christ always radiating the love of a true follower of Jesus. I know we will all miss her, but is with her family and her Saviour, and I can hear her now, Lord, isn't it a beautiful day. Love to her family. Lynette Jordan Allen
