Momma,it's been a year since you've left and I miss you greatly.
It was really hard for me on the 15th because no matter where I was I would call to wish you happy birthday. I miss hearing you say "I love you much". I know that one day we'll meet each other soon and very soon. Hang out with Momma Lucille, Tee-Tee, and Cousin Nancy. I'll see you on the other side.
I love you Momma,
Anita

In 1974, Carrie Daniels was my 1st grade teacher. About 5 years ago I chose to write about my experience with her. My teacher urged me to forward the paper to her. Regretfully, I never did. Mrs. Daniels was kind & compassionate and I am thankful to have knowm her.

Mrs. Daniels was my kindergarten teacher at Shell Elementary in Hawthorne around 1975-1976. My mother recently gave me some school work she had saved from that time. I have fond memories of Mrs. Daniels as she was my first teacher. My prayers are with her family.
