FAUST, CATHERINE SHIRLEY



Catherine Shirley Faust, 84, resident of Gainesville, died Friday, June 13, 2008, in the Summerville Care Facility, following a long illness



Mrs. Faust was a native of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Robert and Elvira Clewell, and had resided in Gainesville, for the past 29 years. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Thomas Faust in 1989. Mrs. Faust was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #8330, in Hialeah, Florida and Post #2811, Gainesville, Florida and was a member of the Military Order of the Cooties. Following the death of her Husband, she became an active volunteer with Hospice.



Survivors include; Two Sons, Dan E. (Dori) Faust, of Gainesville, and Wayne T. (Melissa) Faust, of Hialeah; Sister, June Siefert, of Ozark, Ala.; Brother, Richard (Lois) Clewell, of Opalocka, Fla.; Two Grandsons, Dan (Cora) Faust, Jr. and Duane Wells; Close Friend, Linda Tripp.



Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at 2:00 P. M., in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, with the family receiving friends for one hour prior, beginning at 1:00 P.M.. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Hospice of the Nature Coast, 644 NE Santa Fe Blvd., High Springs, FL 32643.
