Hawthorne - Chester L. Williams, Sr, 61, Custodian at Hawthorne High School, transitioned on August 3, 2021. He's a Minister and member of Miracle Deliverance Center, Hawthorne, FL. He's survived by his children, Derrick Sheffield (Monica), Chester Williams, Jr. (Kia), Danielle Williams, Chester Corin Williams; grandchildren, Kailyn, Khai, Khalil, Corone, Corion, Cormel, Coriona, Cori; siblings, Apostle Robbie Williams, Sr. (Wilhelmina), Christine Bates, Bonnie Williams, Rosemary Tyson, Genese Dixon (Jerome), James Williams, Rufus Williams, Bishop Archie Williams, Sr. (Drennessa); and other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Gordon Chapel Community Church Field, 521 Gordon Chapel Road, Hawthorne, FL. Burial will be in Gordon Chapel Cemetery. Viewing on Friday, August 13, 2021, 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home of Hawthorne and Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Gordon Chapel Church. No viewing after eulogy. Family will meet at Gordon Chapel Church 9:30 a.m. PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME OF HAWTHORNE.

To the Williams family, this is hard to see and read, knowing this man, was a great leader, pastor, father, uncle and most all DAD! When we would visit the church, he would make us sit down along with his kids, and he was scary at times, but he would make laugh so hard. He will be missed a lot. He called me My Granny's twin. As a prayer warrior; I will continue to keep the family in my daily prayers. Love PCP!
