CURTIS POWERS Obituary

POWERS, CURTIS MICHAEL
Curtis Michael Powers, 57 of Archer met his Heavenly Father October 6, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Mary and sister Sharon. He leaves behind his wife Tiffany, kids Cory, Nicole, Jamie and Jonathan, and his many friends and country music fans. Curt was an accomplished singer songwriter who achieved a record deal with his first hit, Cowboy Lady. He never met a stranger and loved helping other people in their time of need. He will be remembered for his many talents and big heart. A memorial service will be held at Archer Elementary School 14533 SW 170th Street Archer, FL on 10/13/2018 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for monetary gifts to help with future expenses.

Curt and I started our friendship in college. We worked out and ran the basketball court almost everyday. Curt had a tremendous passion for Elvis. He would play and sing alot at my mom's. He chase his dream and caught it, but stay the same person he always. I went to work for Coca-Cola and hires him and the "Just In Time Band" for pretty much every event they had. He is a Great Man and even a Better Person. I could go on for ever but he knows and hopefully he feels this.

Curt was my neighbor and a truly caring friend. While walking my dog I would often see him driving home. He would usually stop and ask how I was doing and if I was ok. I am so sad to hear of his passing. RIP my good friend.
