Curt and I started our friendship in college. We worked out and ran the basketball court almost everyday. Curt had a tremendous passion for Elvis. He would play and sing alot at my mom's. He chase his dream and caught it, but stay the same person he always. I went to work for Coca-Cola and hires him and the "Just In Time Band" for pretty much every event they had. He is a Great Man and even a Better Person. I could go on for ever but he knows and hopefully he feels this.

The memories of the time we all spent at the dandy pub will always be my fondest. Thanks for the special song you wrote about Joe and including so many to be part of the Joe kieffer crew. A special song written by a special man curt powers.

Curt was my neighbor and a truly caring friend. While walking my dog I would often see him driving home. He would usually stop and ask how I was doing and if I was ok. I am so sad to hear of his passing. RIP my good friend.
