Daniel Withey Obituary

WITHEY SR., DANIEL PATRICK



Daniel Patrick Withey Sr., of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, April 9th at his home. He was 64. Mr. Withey was a retired power lineman and a former resident of Fort White, FL. He was a Navy veteran. Mr. Withey is survived by his wife, Sandra Hollingsworth Withey; 1 son, Danny Withey of Lake City; 1 daughter, Denise Withey, of High Springs; 2 brothers, Walter Withey of High Springs and Leonard E. Withey, Jr. of High Springs; 1 sister, Elzada Carver of Branford, FL; 8 grandchildren.



Funeral services will be at Impact Family Church, 16710 NW U.S. Hwy 331, High Springs on Sunday , April 13th at 3:00pm with Rev. Steve Boyd officiating with burial following at High Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 12th from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Evens-Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, FL. (386) 454-2444.



Arrangements are under the care of EVANS-CARTER FUNERAL HOME, High Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Malcom Randal V.A. Medical Center, Volunteer Program, 1601 S.W. Archer Rd., Gainesville, FL 32608.
