DEVONTE DEMETRIUS
Devonte Demetrius Jenkins. Sr., transitioned from this walk of life on the morning of April 5, 2018 in Gainesville, Florida.
He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted parents, Jesse and Willie Jean Jenkins of Citra, Fl; four children, Devonte jenkins, Jr., Blossom-Star Boatswain, Sy'mari Powell, and De'kayden Jenkins; three siblings, Jessica (Quintonny), Brooks of Killeen, Tx, Jessiana Jenkins, and Jesse Jenkins; his living grandparents, Rev. Willie James Denmark, Sr, of Citra, FL and Rose Griffin of Reddick, FL; five aunts Shedra (Rod) Wright, Tiffany (Jimmie) Washington, Marisha Peppers, Tenesha Denmark, Misty Jenkins. and Cynthia Whiting; uncles, Willie Denmark, Jr. and Terrell (Lashawnda) Denmark of Ocala, FL. Godmother Anelsa (Russell) Blunt. Godsiblings: Brian D. McIntosh, Trey Borden, Demontae Blunt, Keontae Blunt, and Nykeia Blunt; and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and sorrowing friends.
Celebration of life will be held on Satuday, April 14, 2018, 1:00PM at PFGC, 5105 N US Hwy 441, Ocala, FL 34475. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2018, 6-8PM at 16490 NE 43rd, Reddick, FL 32686. Services entrusted to Signature Memorial Funeral and Cremation Services LLC, 3401 SE Hawthorne RD, Gainesville, FL 32641.

My heart is heavy and hurting nothing could have prepared me for this day I am thankful that God placed you in our lives I can remember the first time I met you and you and I can remember the last time I talked to you didn't know that would be the last time I would see you I am going to miss you nephew so until we meet again I'm not going to say goodbye so I'll say see you later I love you and Rest Easy until we meet again!!!!❤❤❤

Dee, You will truly be missed. This is such a hard pill to swallow but through prayers and with Gods help we will get through this. I promise to do everything in my power to make sure that your twin DeKayden is taken care of and to keep Kayla focused because shes hurting but shes going to be okay because she has to raise yall son and I will always have her back and do whatever I have to do to make sure they are straight. Im sorry you had to go so soon I know if it were up to you, you would have stayed. Take your rest, and rock the heavens with that beautiful smile!!! Gone but never forgotten.
