Donald Mueller Obituary

MUELLER, JR.,
DONALD GENE
Donald Gene Mueller, Jr., born March 3rd, 1961, son of Donald Mueller, Sr. and Bess Mueller of Indialantic, Florida, brother of Brett W. Mueller & Nichol Mueller of Deltona Florida, nephew of Bill Mueller of Melbourne Beach Florida and father of Alexandra, Samanntha and Jaquline Mueller of Gainesville, Florida died November 25th, 2015 in Old Town, Florida. Donald was a graduate of UF Department of Civil Engineering and worked as an Engineer/Owner at MV7, Tampa, Florida. Donald loved to fish and spend time on the Suwannee River enjoying his boats and the river. Donald loved the Caribbean as well and had a dream to sail through the islands one day. He loved boating and snorkeling in the Keys. Donald loved the Gators and enjoyed watching Florida football on Saturdays in the Fall. He enjoyed building things, such as our houses, chicken coops, and anything he could put his mind to. He loved fishing, scalloping, exploring islands, and diving in the Gulf of Mexico. He loved extreme tubing, jet skiing, wake boarding, and tubing. He enjoyed spicy foods and brewing different beers and wines. He was excellent at grilling and making homemade pizzas from scratch. He was an excellent photographer. He loved his cat Morris who snores and drools, along with his chickens which he tamed. He enjoyed watching his three daughters all play volleyball. He loved golfing and had competed in many tournaments. His passion was to build as he was a very intelligent and hard-working individual.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a college fund at USA Campus Credit Union has been created for his children called 'The Mueller Girls Scholarship Fund'.

My prayers for Don's three daughters during this time of sadness in the loss of their father. I had the privilege to work with Doug on and off for more than 10 years and was proud to be a friend. One of my favorite memories was to watch him smile and talk about the girl's volleyball tourneys as he was getting ready to travel with them. His family was his life, and the daughters were his pride and joys. His love for family was tremendous. His work ethic and passion for excellence was admirable. He will be missed my many, but will always be remembered as a very good man.

Don and I were friends and co-workers for many years. I am going to miss him so much. We worked and fished together so many times, and I never forget being marooned on a sand bar with him for 6 hours till the tide came back in. We always had great times. God bless him and his girls.

It was wonderful working with Don on construction projects for many years. He was always smiling and talking about his girls. He will be missed. Sending prayers for his family.
