JACKSON EDDIE L., 69

Gainesville - Eddie L. Jackson, 69, passed away May 29, 2013 at E. T. York Care Center.

A Gainesville, native he was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church LaCrosse, FL. Eddie was a 1962 graduate of A.L. Mebane High School. His memory will live on in the hearts of two daughters Savina Jackson, High Springs, FL, Tonya Welcome Tampa, FL; two sisters Earlene Bright, (Charles) Gainesville, FL, Paula Long (Hurley) Newberry, FL; brother Charles Jackson, Gainesville, FL and two grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jackson will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Female Protective Temple with Elder Harvey Long officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery Newberry, FL under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home, 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Saturday 2:00-7:00PM Chestnut Chapel and on Sunday at the Temple one hour before the service. The cortege will form at the home of his sister and brother-in-law Paula & Hurley Long, 2924 N.W. 162nd Street Newberry, FL at 12:15 PM.

To the family of Eddie Jackson. Earlene, Lane, and Charles. We were so sorry to hear of Eddie passing. You have our deepest condolences and sympathy. May You find peace and comfort during this difficult time, in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. I will always have good memories of the good times we had together when we were children in Alachua.
