Gainesville - Ellen L. (Rothrauff) Milie, 85, of Gainesville, FL, formerly of Vandergrift and Pittsburgh, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Florida.
Born June 26, 1929 in Braddock, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Gertrude (Reichle) Rothrauff.
Ellen attended Graduate High School in Braddock, PA, and was a retired billing supervisor for Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Vandergrift, and Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gainesville, FL.
Family was of utmost importance to Ellen, and always came first.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Milie, who passed away on June 4, 2007; sisters, Dolly James, Nellie Saccamano, May Wengel, Mary Rothrauff; brother, Howard Rothrauff; brothers-in-law, Chuck James, Neil Saccamano, Bruce Wengel; and sister-in-law, Louisa Rothrauff.
Ellen is survived by her sons, Robert L. (Mary E.) Milie of Gainesville, FL, Jack D. (Brenda) Milie of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, Kristine (Shane) Milie Tuttle, Robert L. Milie II, Lindsey Bertugli, Jessica Milie, Jack Milie; great grandchildren, Alexis & Anthony Tuttle, Peyton Milie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 12:00 noon in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, with Father Meinrad Lawson as celebrant. Interment in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Vandergrift.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Ellen's name to St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, PA 15690.
