Middleburg - Farrah Nicole Cox, age 42, of Middleburg, Florida has gone on to receive her crown of righteousness on January 25, 2021 at St. Vincent's Medical Center Clay County. Farrah was born in Gainesville, Florida on February 15, 1978 to her loving parents, Paul McGruder and Marion Slater McGruder. She was raised in Hawthorne, Florida and graduated from Hawthorne High School. After graduating, Farrah pursued her career in the Insurance industry. She worked at Tower Hill Insurance Company in Gainesville where she met the love of her life, Dwayne Cox. On April 6, 2013, Farrah and Dwayne were happily married and shortly after they relocated to Orange Park where they resided for 5 years. Two years ago, they made Middleburg their home where they have made many memories. Farrah was currently working at Alliance Insurance Company of Orange Park as a Senior Customer Service Representative. She was an active member of the Pentecostals of Orange Park Church where she devoted her time in the nursery and sang on the praise team. She loved her Lord and Savior and especially loved praise and worship. Most of all, Farrah was passionate about her children, but also loved all children. She was a nurturer by nature and loved taking care of and loving on sweet babies. Farrah will truly be missed by all who knew her, and her legacy will live on through the lives she touched.
Farrah is survived by her parents, Paul (Marion) McGruder of Gainesville, FL and Marion McGruder of Hawthorne, FL; loving husband, Dwayne Cox of Middleburg, FL; children, Sabrian and Brinae Edwards both of Middleburg, FL; brother, Kevin McGruder of Atlanta, GA; along with many extended family and friends who loved Farrah dearly.
A Memorial Service to honor Farrah's Life will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Pentecostals of Orange Park Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Cody Thompson officiating.
