GARY DOLES Obituary
Orlando - Gary Doles slipped peacefully from this world on December 2, 2013 after a brief illness. Born on November 17, 1951, Gary had a passion for life and enjoyed a career as a singer, songwriter, and storyteller.
He is survived by his wife and sweetheart, Jan Richardson; his son, Emile; his parents, Harold and Dee; his brothers, Jeff (Suzanne), Greg (Doreen), and Jon (Heather); and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, December 6th at 2:00 PM with reception following at First United Methodist Church of Winter Park, 125 N. Interlachen Avenue, Winter Park, Florida.

I called Gary a good friend, and will always do so. I think of him often onstage and off. A true gentleman and fabulous talent. I miss our talks and joking around at our music festivals sharing our music and life experience. Miss you, my friend!

Remembering Gary from North Miami Sr High School as a classmate. Did not get to see him perform in later years, but I well remember his early talent.

Gary was a wonderful man and great human being. I was proud to be his cousin. Sadly, I'm now living in the Philippines and was unable to be there with my family. My thoughts and prayers go out to them all. We'll all be together to sing as one some day soon. Love and miss you Gary!

Gary is a wonderful artist and more importantly a good soul and a gentle man. I have no memory of him that is not abundant with affection and resonant with the music of the spheres. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
