May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived. Mr.Cunningham gave the many students he taught over the years a lot of reflections of good times when in his class. I too was a student driver Ed. He was a wonderful teacher. Always had a smile on his face. No matter what. I see he past this on to his kids. I know a Gainesville City Bus driver. His son reminds me of his Dad every time I see him. I will think of Mr. Cunningham [ Mr.C ] every time I get behind the wheel of my car. I will pass on many lessons to my on son. Who is starting to learn to drive. I know the knowledege that I learned with Mr. C will go on. May god bless the Cunningham's

I, too, share and extend my heartfelt sympathy to you in the loss of your love one. A member of the 1949 graduating class of Lincoln High School,, I remember Harold so well as a perfect gentleman, extremely quite (my complete opposite), kind, an athlete, respectful and polite. My children enjoyed their first television set purchased from Harold in the mid-to late fifties. Please know that he is in a better place and also that you will have his love and all of his fond memories to sustain and comfort you during and after this very difficult period. My admonishment to you all is that you remain strong and remember to "Take One Day At A Time" and in so doing you will have the assurance that "This, Too, Shall pass." Stay Prayerful.

Mr Cunningham will always be held in reverence. His influence and guidance help shaped many student lives. In a period of civil strife and uncertainty, he personified a positive image, specifically for school aged african-american males, at Bradford High School in the late 60's and early 70's.
I will forever be indebted to his influence and mentoring; as well as his social and spiritual conscientiousness.
Jah love with praises and many blessings upon he and his family.

'Coach' Cunningham was one of the BEST teachers at Bradford High School!
He was my Driver's Ed instructor back in 1971 and he left a lasting impression on all of us!
Every other year or so, I would run into him somewhere in Gainesville and he always had time to visit and reminence and laugh about all of us crazy kids! What a special man!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time!
I will remember him always!

To The Family of Mr. Cunningham,
Mr. Cunningham was my drivers ed. teacher at Bradford High School many years ago. He was a great man with a big heart and a bright smile. I will never forget the look on his face when we were driving on the road and he told me to pass a car and I did what I thought I was suppose to do and when I got over he looked at me with his eyes wide open and said you never passed a car before have you? I said no why did I scare you..all he could do was shake his head and laugh..Some teachers you forget through the years but I have always thought of Mr. Cunningham everytime I get behind the wheel of my car. My heart shares your grief and I have you in my prayers. God will watch over you and heal your heart in time. My deepest sympathy.. R.I.P. Mr. Cunningham

To The Family of Mr. Cunningham: I had Mr. Cunninghamp for Driver's Ed in high school. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face even though at times our class would have him shaking his head. He always found something amusing in our goof ups. He made part of my high school period great! He was a great person and an joy to have known.
He is now receiving his heavenly rewards. I pray that God helps you all during this troubling time. God Bless You all.
