BROWN, JAMES
GAMBREL (JIM)
James Gambrel (Jim) Brown, 80, was born in Gainesville, FL and passed away peacefully at home. After high school he served in the US Air Force for 4 years. He was an electronic Engineer at the Dept. of Physiology at the University of FL for 33 years, and for the USDA for 10 years.
Loving father of Julie (Brown) Kurian Gainesville and James G. Brown, Jr. of Clearwater and is survived by his mother, Mary R. Smith of Ocala, his sisters Marie Booth (John) of Leesburg and Rebecca Morley (Robert) of Ocala, a grandson, Robbie Stanford of Ocala, and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a private memorial at a later date.
