To my beloved son now with and among the angels. Thank you for being the child you were and the man you became. I would have gladly taken that ultimately fatal shot for you, standing in for you as our Lord stood in for us all. If love could have saved you if itself, you would be here. Then again, son you ARE here and will forever with me for everytime and everywhere I see sincere love, laughter, and life I shall remember you. And you will dwell in this grieving father's being my inspiring smile and my sincere tears for all time. Until again we meet.

MelindaI HOPE that in this difficult time you find comfort in the presence of your Creator. I hope you know that you are loved. I HOPE that in the midst of your loss you can enjoy and celebrate the memories. I HOPE that,in the end, you will find your faith to be strong and sustaining. . I HOPE that in the quietest corner of your soul, you can rest in the knowledge that you and Kamau will be together again. And until then, I HOPE, I KNOW, that you will honor the life of your Sonshine Kamau by embracing every day, every minute, and every breath you are given, and that you will take time to imagine the life that awaits...
