Lucille Tillman Obituary
Ms. Lucille Tillman, age 55, passed away May 11, 2011 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center. Ms. Tillman was a member of Springhill Baptist Church; graduate of Eastside High School, Class of 1973, and the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
She is survived by her children; Lavoris Tillman, Tampa, FL, Nagenia Sheka Cowvins, Shacoya Montgomery, both of Gainesville, FL, mother; Ruth Tillman, Gainesville, FL, siblings; Roy Tillman, Bobby Tillman, Michael Tillman, Gwen Tillman-Williams, (Jimmie), Lola Debose (Gregory), all of Gainesville, FL, Esther Allen, Tampa, FL, grandchildren; Marnea Glover, Terrionna Turner, and Robert Turner, II.
Funeral services for Ms. Tillman will be held 11:00am, Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Springhill Baptist Church, Rev. Adrian Taylor, officiating; burial will follow in Grass Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N.W. 8th Ave., Gainesville, FL.
Ms. Tillman will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 2-7pm, and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00am until the hour of service. Family and friends are asked to meet at the home of her mother, Mrs. Ruth Tillman, 1008 S.E. 18th Terrace, at 10:15am to form the cortege.

I was so sorry to hear about Lucille, I just heard the news so did not get to go to the funeral. May God bless the Tillman family and know that we never really lose people as long as we keep them in our hearts. I worked with Lucille for many years and she will be missed by allwho knew her.
