MARK MATTHEW, 49
Mark Matthew Verschaeve, age 49, passed away unexpectedly in Clarksville, Tennessee on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. Mark was born October 21, 1967 in Alliston, Ontario Canada. He moved to Hawthorne, Florida in March 1977. He graduated from Hawthorne High School in 1985 and then enlisted in the United States Army in 1988. He eventually moved to Lobelville, TN, always chasing rainbows.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Morris Verschaeve. He is survived by his mother, Dianna Verschaeve; brothers, Derrick (Jamie) of Melrose, FL and Michael of Hawthorne, FL; niece, Brianna; nephews, Nicholas, Corbin and Reubin and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, US 301 South at Lake Avenue. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Park East. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606. Please visit Mark's memorial page at
