Martha Ann Young Scott
Martha Ann Young Scott peacefully transitioned on December 4, 2020. An Evangelist at A Call To Repentance Outreach Ministry, her home church was New Hope United Methodist Church, Hawthorne, FL. She was a true servant of God and spent her days trying to do his will by helping her family and community. She leaves behind her mother, Hettie Lou Ross; step mother, Ruby Monroe; husband, Lee B. Scott; children, Tariro Wade, Jeremy Gordon and Tiffany Adkins; grandchildren, Tavia Biles, Dave Biles Jr., Tavion Bryant, Jayce Gordon, Toniyah Bryant, Julani Gordon; great-grand child, Kenzie Biles; Siblings, Mary Lou Pinkney, Zemilar Hayes, Loretta Hines, Ellen Thomas, Marilyn Monroe, Theretha Ehglish, Deborah English, Denise Watson, Jaconda Smith, Willie Lock, Curtis Bessent Sr., Don Bessent, Dennis watson, James Monroe Jr., Cordele Monroe, David Smith; and other relatives and friends.
Viewing for Evangelist Martha Ann Young-Scott will be Friday, December 18, 2020, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home of Gainesville. Viewing on Friday, December 18, 2020, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Pinkney-Smith Funeral Home of Hawthorne. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Gilgal Cemetery, Hawthorne, FL, Rev. Eugene Herring, Officiating. Family will meet at the cemetery 10:45 a.m. Pinkey-Smith Funeral Homes - Hawthorne & Gainesville.
