MARTHA VERKLER Obituary
ELLEN KOWALSKI
Mrs. Martha Ellen Kowalski Verkler, age 62, died Sunday December 10, 2017 peacefully at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center. Martha was born in Owensboro, Ky. To Paul and Emma Kowalski. She lived in Brooksville and St Petersburg before moving to Gainesville in 1989. Martha was a registered nurse. Martha took care of Dr. Linton Grinter when she was finishing her degree in Nursing. She has been a Nurse at Alachua General Hospital, VA Hospital all here in Gainesville and a Physicians Substitute/ Manager at Bio-Test Pharmaceutical.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, brother Pat Kowalski, Mike Kowalski, and sister Sue Kowalski. Survivors include her husband, John Richard Verkler, Gainesville, FL, sons, Scott Dausch (Jana Green Dausch), Alachua, FL, Brandon Verkler (Stacey Verkler) Palm Harbor, Cody Verkler, and Dalton Verkler both-Gainesville, FL, brother Paul Kowalski, sister Frances Castro both of Phoenix, AZ., and sister Lou Kowalski- Brooksville, FL, grandchildren Haden Dausch-Melrose, FL, Benjamin Verkler and Samuel Verkler both- Palm Harbor.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday December 16, 2017 at Milam Funeral Home Chapel. Reception to follow service at Verkler Residence. Arrangements are in the care of Milam Funeral and Cremation Services, 311 South Main St. Gainesville, FL 32601.
