MITCHELL WILLIAMS Obituary
Mitchell Williams, age 64, Son of the late Eddie & Elmira Williams, Retired Assembler/ Infinite Energy & 1971 Graduate of Gainesville High School who later attended Santa Fe Community College, transitioned on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Haven Hospice/ E.T. York Care Center following a lingering illness.
The Homegoing Services will be held 3:30PM Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Fairbanks Church of God by Faith (Fairbanks Community/ Gainesville, FL) where Elder Jeremiah Lee is Pastor, with his Brother, Min. Levone Williams as Eulogist and his Brother, Elder Cornelius Williams as Officiant. The Burial will follow at Grass Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Williams will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at the residence of his sister, Ida Williams White, 14210 NW 158th Ave, Alachua, FL at 2:30PM.
Loving Memories will remain with: sisters - Thelma Carter (& Ernest) of Gainesville, FL and Ida Williams White of Alachua, FL; brothers - Robert Lee Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Eddie S. Williams (& Rosa), Elder Cornelius Williams (& Min. Dorothy) and Min. Levone Williams (& Gwen) of Gainesville, FL (siblings - Alice Mae Williams, Eddie Williams Jr. and Roosevelt Williams preceded him in death); aunts & uncles; nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Mitch, you are the best uncle ever. You were more than just an uncle to me though. You was my friend, my neighbor, and a great male figure. All the times we shared cannot be forgotten. I am so honored to be your "ugly girl" and "favorite niece." It hurts my heart to know you're away, but it made me smile to know you suffered no more. I still feel like you're near and you're advice, love, and memories will stay with me forever. I love you "Ugly Mitch." Watch me and your new nephew grow.

My heart is so sad.. Mitch was such a funny sweet friend. I had the pleasure of working with him at Atkins and taking our once a week breakfast trip to Mickey D's.. still makes me laugh knowing he would put grape jelly on a egg McMuffin.. He was an amazing man and friend.
