Mrs. Oveida Hammonds 77, of Williston, Florida passed away on April 20, 2009 at E.T. York Haven Hospice Care Center of Gainesville, Florida. Mrs. Hammonds was of the Methodist Faith.
She is survived by: her husband, Benjamin Hammonds, Sr., 7 Children: Benjamin Hammonds Jr., Carlton Hammonds, Sammie Hammonds, John Anthony, Veronica Jones, Jackie Williams, and Mary Walters. 18 Grands, 14 Great-Grands, and 1 Great-great-grand.
The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Oveida Hammonds will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009, 11:00am at Destiny Church Of God By Faith( 160 N.E. 9th Street) Williston ,Florida. The Committal Services will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Williston ,Florida. Visitation hours will be held Friday, April 24,2009 at Allen Chapel A.M.E Church (48 N.E. 9th Street) Williston, Florida. from 6:00pm - 7:30pm.
