TAYLOR FLETCHER
Deputy Taylor Fletcher Lindsey, 25 years of age, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Trenton, FL. He was born on June 30, 1992 to William Lindsey and Nancy Newbern Lindsey in Gainesville, FL and was a lifelong resident. He was a huge Georgia Bulldog fan and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Deputy Lindsey loved his job in Law Enforcement where he proudly and bravely served his community with the Gilchrist County Sheriff's Office.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Deputy Lindsey is survived by his parents, William Michael Lindsey of Gainesville, FL and Nancy Newbern Lindsey of Gainesville, FL; his maternal grandmother, Anita Darrell of Hudson, FL; his maternal grandfather, James Newbern of Wellborn, FL and his paternal grandfather, William Fletcher Lindsey of Gainesville, FL.
Funeral Services for Deputy Lindsey will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Bell High School Auditorium in Bell, FL. Chaplin Ronnie Gregory officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

I am so sorry , my grand parents were from Trenton , Effie & Lindon Lindsey , My Daddy , Sammy Lindsey lived in Old Town but we were raised in Cedar Key, I dont know if we were kin to Taylor but I pray for both Familes & all who have heard about this tragedy and care. May God give peace & comfort to all.

Dear Fletcher, Mike, and Nancy, Our hearts are breaking for the loss of your precious Taylor! We were shocked when Dee called! We are so sad! Your family has been through so much the past several years, and Taylor was always there to help! Please accept our sincere condolences! We so wish we could be at the funeral, but we will be watching the service on our local station here in Polk County! We Love You All!
