THERESA ANN, 76

Archer - Theresa Ann Garren, 76, longtime resident of Archer, Florida, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in the North Florida Regional Medical Center, following a long illness.

Mrs. Garren was born on January 4, 1938, in Miami, Florida, to the late James and Christie Willingham, and had lived in Archer for most of her life. Theresa was a dental lab technician, working for Precision Dental. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christa Leigh Hoyt, in 1990.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Hoyt, of Nashville; a brother, Jimmy Willingham, of Archer, and one granddaughter, Jordan Leigh Hoyt, of Nashville.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Archer. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice. Please visit her memorial page at

Dear Family,
I am saddened deeply by Ann's passing.
Last crime victims rights week we walked around the garden, exchanging stories about life and about the homicides that ended the lives of the our family member. When my sis died, Ann, and Pat were always there for me. I have the photographs of her at last years event. Please call Gretchen and have her contact me so I may share them with you. She was special and I looked up to her for strength.
She was loved. She will be soo missed Wishing her family peace.
